Our January 2025 book is a darkly comic look at the new "generation" of vampires. It is called An Unattractive Vampire by Jim McDoniel.

The premise:

Waking after centuries underground, vampire Yuric Bile struggles to adapt to modern life and the glamorous new generation of vampires from shows like The Phantom Vampire Mysteries. With the help of a human and her eight-year-old brother Simon, Yuric aims to track down these telegenic beings and show them what a real beast is like.
